Sinopsis
Se centra en las vidas, conflictos, relaciones personales y profesionales de un grupo de abogados que trabajan para la prestigiosa firma Mckenzie, Brackman, Chaney & Kuzac, de Los Ángeles. El bufete está liderado por el paternalista Leland Mckenzie, único miembro superviviente de los antiguos fundadores. Los otros socios son Michael Kuzac; Arnie Becket, exitoso y atractivo especialista en divorcios; Ann Kelsey; Stuart Markowitz, tímido abogado experto en temas fiscales y Víctor Sifuentes, recién incorporado al grupo, un joven hispano cuyos elevados ideales chocan contra el sentido práctico y materialista de Douglas Brackman jr., el frío pero eficiente director general de la firma.
