Sinopsis
Kate Mulligan (Alexandra Schalaudek) y Terence Hudson (Peter Ketnath) crecieron juntos en el valle y decidieron casarse. Pero tras anunciar su compromiso lo pospusieron mientras ella estudiaba enfermería y él hacía carrera en el ejército. Dos años después, se reencuentran en el valle, pero ambos han cambiado. Sin embargo, no tienen mucho tiempo para reconsiderar su decisión, y mantienen la boda, pues Terence ha sido destinado a la India. Un viejo amigo de Terence y futuro testigo de su boda, Ken Kaloon, llega al valle acompañado de su hermana Cindy, con quien Terence tuvo un romance, y a quien nunca confesó que estaba comprometido.
